ABOUT THE MURDER MYSTERY DINNER THEATRE
It’s murder mystery madness! The interactive dinner theatre craze has come to Pickwick &
Frolic as only Pickwick can pull it off with its top-notch food, permanent stage, computerized
lighting, state-of-the-art sound and a national reputation for outstanding talent. “The Red Carpet
Murders” opens February 20, 2009 and plays Friday nights in a limited run. It is also available for
groups of 40 or more on any day (pending cast availability.)
The evening begins with salad, cocktails and characters served right to your table but you'll
have to leave your seat if you receive an award. Beware, however, the red carpet curse! Some
award-winners don't make it through the night.
As the body count mounts, entertainment and accusations follow during the “live” telecast
of The Red Carpet Awards Show. But before the killer can be unmasked, your choice of one of
four entrees is served. Also included with each meal are non-alcoholic beverages, house salad with
bread course, and dessert.
After dinner, the twists and turns continue full-tilt with only a pause for dessert as the
evidence mounts and the alibis unravel. It’s killer theatre. You solve the crime and compete for the
reward. Get involved or sit back and enjoy the fun. We won’t make you do anything you don’t
want to do.
GREAT FOR A SPECIAL OCCASION / BUSINESS, OR JUST A FUN NIGHT OUT!
We recognize your celebration from the stage and make any occasion memorable. Murder
mysteries are also great for building teamwork, creativity and problem-solving among employees in
a unique atmosphere. Pickwick & Frolic is known for the quality of entertainment and food in the
buffet dinner show package, which has been offered from our opening. We have carried that same
quality through to our Mystery Dinner Theatre. Now, another option for dinner and entertainment,
all in one!
CORPORATE TEAM BUILDING
Many businesses and corporations plan social gatherings to encourage employee bonding
and a healthy work environment. Murder Mysteries accomplish this and more. They are not only
great as a social night out but they also teach teamwork, facilitate communication and promote
creative problem solving.
Throughout the evening, each table of 8-12 guests is encouraged to act as a team to solve the
mystery. They are responsible for asking questions of the suspects as well as sharing any insights
that will lead to a group verdict. At the end of the evening there is even a prize for the winning team.
