Kenny
Rogerson
September 4, 25-30

Ken Rogerson, the funniest man you've never heard of, started his comedy career working the Chicago comedy club circuit, while stealing an education from Northwestern University. He studied acting at the workshops of the famed Second City, and toured briefly with an improv troupe called The Comedy Rangers.
He then moved to Boston, where he honed his stand-up act to a fine edge...Sharp enough to cut the head off a rabbit at thirty yards. He was writer for Fox TV's Sunday Comics, where he also starred in many recurring film pieces. He has had numerous television appearances on programs like, Late Night with Conan O'Brien, The Late Show with David Letterman, and a special Showtime feature called, A Pair of Jokers, to name a few. Other credits include Comedy Central, A&E and MTV.
The Boston Herald proclaimed, "He makes the absurd seem logical", and Las Vegas Magazine notes, "His observations on most topics are dead-on. As far as pure stand-up goes, it doesn't get any better than Rogerson." Michael Blowen, of The Boston Globe raves, "He is fall on the floor funny. Why doesn't this guy have his own show?"
Director Peter Farrelly (Dumb and Dumber and King Pin) saw Rogerson's show and was so impressed that he cast him in the movie "There's Something About Mary" starring Matt Dillon, Cameron Diaz, and Ben Stiller. Rogerson also starred in the movie Bluff. |
