ROBERT J. WALLAND has been involved in theatre since he was a kid. He is a Cleveland area native who has recently starred as Joe in Bachelorettes Gone Homicidal and Officer Gary in The All-Girl Prison Murders in Pickwick’s hit Murder Mysteries. He has done stand-up comedy and improv throughout California and Ohio as well as commercial and film work here in Cleveland. Robert thanks his wonderful family and friends for all their love and support through the years.
SARA ROUSE acts in independent films and area musicals. She is currently starring in her 8th Pickwick Murder Mystery as Sofia Strasberg in #KillBridezilla. She has played Sally TuShue in The Red Carpet Murders, Mandy Sparks in Cruise Ship Killer, Nurse Lisa in Psych Ward Whacker, Eve in Murder at the Oasis, Prissy in Toga Party Terror, Lesley in Bachelorettes Gone Homicidal and Ritz in The All Girl Prison Murder as well as a run as the showgirl Bubbles in Pickwick’s famous Midnight Martini Show.
JAMES CATULLO is a performer and writer. He is originally from Western Pennsylvania where he was a member of the sketch and improv troupe the Cellar Dwellers. In Cleveland, he is a co-founder of Crooked River Comedy which is dedicated to the instruction, performance, and development of the comedic arts in the Greater Cleveland Area. He performed with the short and long form house teams at Big Dog Theater. He is a founding member of long form improv troupe Dennis! and performs regularly with This Improvised Life. He also writes and performs sketch comedy with Friends With Cats and is the co-creator of Dodge Intrepid and the Pages of Time, a scripted radio drama & podcast.
JOSHUA McELROY is a graduate of the Cleveland Institute of Art. He aspires to be an actor, entertainer and a comedian. He has multiple talents other than being an artist, he’s a musician, and for several years he was the leader of the Shaker Heights Improv Team, as well as a member of the Case Western Reserve University’s “IMPROVment”. Josh has been in a number of plays at The Karamu House, such as The Color Purple, The Wiz, and recently God’s Trombones. Joshua plans to study at Second City then travel to New York City in the future and pursue his dreams of becoming a Blockbuster entertainer as well as a very influential actor
RYAN SANTA graduated from Case Western Reserve University in 2008 with his B.A in Theatre. He studied sketch comedy and improvisation at The Second City and IO in Chicago. Ryan served as Artistic Director for the sketch comedy group Pretty/Windy for 3 years taking their nerd humor all over the midwest. As an ensemble member of The Public House theatre Ryan’s credits included Dionysus in The Book of Dionysus and Thomas Plaid in Fifty Shades of Plaid.
EMILY SCAFIDI is thrilled to make her debut at Hilarities! Her most recent credits include a role in the film Billie Bob Joe. She is a graduate of Baldwin Wallace University, where she appeared in Blood Wedding, Jimmy the Anti-Christ, and Hamlet, and premiered her one act play, R.S.V.P. Emily would like to thank her family and friends for all their support, and for listening to her television show and film script ideas.
MICHAEL ROGALINER (Producer/Director) and JOHN DiSANTO (Music Director) have created and produced original shows for Pickwick & Frolic for over 14 years including Pinch & Squeal’s Vaudeville Circus and the hit Murder Mystery Party #KillBridezilla both now playing. Their original Murder Mystery Comedies include Stage Struck, The Red Carpet Murders, Cruise Ship Killer, Psych Ward Whacker, Murder at the Oasis, Toga Party Terror, Bachelorettes Gone Homicidal and The All-Girl Prison Murder. Their Pickwick cabarets include multi-year runs of Burlesque, Cabaret Rock, Toga!, The Stylettes and The Midnight Martini Show. They also staged a successful run of the Off-Broadway musical Forever Plaid in the Frolic Cabaret. John is a theatre and church music director and composer whose primary instruments include pipe organ and harp. Michael has an MFA in theatre directing from Syracuse University and has directed plays and musicals throughout NE Ohio and Central New York including such favorites as Nunsense, Pippin, Evita, Jesus Christ Superstar and Anything Goes.
DON MITRI (Improv Coach) is a Cleveland actor with over sixteen years experience. Don is an alumni of Cabaret Dada Improvisational Theater which he was a part of from 1996-2000. He was part of the widely successful television pilot The Something Dada Show. In 2000 he was cast in Tony -n- Tina’s Wedding at Playhouse Squares Hanna Theater. In 2001 Don was cast as the lead Tony Nunzio Jr. In 2003 Don teamed up with Jeff Blanchard to write, create and perform Don and Jeff’s One Man Revival…Who’s Mess Is This? which was performed at the Kennedy’s of Playhouse Square. In 2004 the duo teamed up to form the Cleveland Improv Institute located in the legendary Hermit Club. In 2010 Don opened the Big Dog Theater in the historic Centrum Theater in the heart of the Coventry Arts District. Don recently partnered with Jeff Blanchard again to create the Comedy Project Alliance in Mayfield Village. Don is an accomplished radio and on-camera actor. You can catch Don in the television show It’s A Miracle and in the movies Renegade Force, Edge of Seventeen, Look for the Woman and The Winner Is.
